1.譯者將enlightening譯為「在學術上的有其重要性」，practical譯為「醫療」，但個人認為似乎譯的有些過度引申與詮釋，不盡洽當。
2.The knowledge that brain mapping 譯為「知識」，但knowledge of the human genome譯為「研究」，個人若能統一用詞，讀者將可更清楚原文涵義。
3.譯者似乎未將give rise to譯出，個人認為因為該句有「引起、導致」的意涵，不應省略。
