於原文中作者所要強調的是，有了外在的「工具」，也要同時具備使用這些外在工具的「方法或技術」，即inner game。個人認為，inner game 並不好詮釋，但譯者譯為「內在技巧」雖無不妥，但若是換成策略，更可貼切表達原文中game所代表的a secret and clever plan的涵義。
